This week, Weber Shandwick’s UK & EMEA CEO Colin Byrne will take to the stage at eurobest, the Festival of European Creativity, now in its 30th year.
In his session, entitled “To Boldly Go Where No PR Person Has Gone Before”, Colin will reflect candidly on his four decades in public relations, working with leaders from Tony Blair to Prince Charles and major global brands. He’ll look at how digital innovation, media market upheaval, Cannes and eurobest have changed the industry, and what challenges remain. The session will be moderated by Jane Martinson, columnist and former Media Editor at the Guardian.
Part of the Lions Festivals family along with Cannes Lions, Dubai Lynx and Spikes Asia, eurobest will this year be held in London for the first time, to celebrate creativity from across the Continent. In common with its sister events, eurobest is focused on the four pillars of “celebration, learning, networking and inspiration,” with a range of future-facing themes across three days of speakers, workshops and awards.
