Anna is a passionate communications leader in various areas of ‘earned’ communication and has over 15 years of international experience in communication, in the consumer health and healthcare sectors, as well as in fast moving consumer goods. Her expertise areas are strategic counsel to business leaders on communication matters, crisis prevention and management, as well as brand building through PR.
Anna started her career in PR in France for P&G and has completed award winning PR campaigns for various brands and at a corporate level. As part of her role, she has coached leaders to enable them to effectively deliver messages to stakeholders and to the media. Later in her career, Anna moved to the Geneva headquarters of P&G, and delivered regional communication strategies, supporting countries.
In 2012 Anna joined Novartis in the newly created role of Head of Brand PR for OTC (over the counter) drugs in Europe and was subsequently nominated Global Head of Communication for the Pain Relief Franchise in the Consumer Health division. In her role she closely partnered with medical affairs, regulatory and R&D, as well as with the Pharmaceuticals division, to prevent and manage issues (e.g. product recall or switches) and build the profile and reputation of active ingredients. Under her leadership, Novartis kicked off a Profense programme to communicate the objective benefit/risk profile of diclofenac.
Anna joined Weber Shandwick in 2016 and has partnered with a number of clients across various industries (such as healthcare, automotive industry and consumer goods). Since 2017, Anna has served as one of Weber Shandwick’s global client relationship leaders with responsibility for ensuring delivery across geographies, practice areas, and speciality areas for some of the firm’s largest clients.
