How Creativity is Transforming Healthcare: Insights from the Zug Pharma Group Event

The February Townhall at Galderma Zug, Switzerland, was filled with anticipation. The event, organised by the Zug Pharma Group and hosted by Eva Piccon Dellamonica, Executive Director, International TA Communications & Patient Advocacy at Novartis, aimed to inspire and connect leaders in Communication, Patient Advocacy, and External Affairs within healthcare. The theme was “Unleashing Creativity in Healthcare.”

By 5 p.m., approximately 50 attendees had gathered for an event that featured a mix of presentations, live polling, and engaging discussions.

Kristen Dimmock Head of Health Strategy EMEA, Weber Shandwick led the presentation, sharing inspirational cases from the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. The event explored innovation in Pharma and Health & Wellness, showcasing how creative healthcare marketing can enhance engagement and make a significant impact.

Following the presentation, Kristen was joined by Anna Gallais (Managing Director, Consumer Health & Wellness EMEA, Weber Shandwick, Jim Wetmore (Head of Healthcare Switzerland & EMEA, Weber Shandwick), and Eva Piccon (Executive Director, Communications & Patient Advocacy) from the Zug Pharma Group, for a vibrant Q&A session.

The discussion addressed the challenges that hinder creative work and explored strategies for persuading stakeholders in a risk-averse environment to pursue distinctiveness and impact. This enlightening conversation sparked new ideas and fostered a sense of camaraderie among the attendees. This event was made possible thanks to the Zug Pharma Group and the sponsorship of Galderma, which provided the perfect venue.
