Ingvild Van Lysebetten is a global communications leader with more than two decades of experience shaping reputation, driving transformation, and guiding companies through periods of profound change. As Chief Communications Officer of dsm-firmenich since May 2023, she has spearheaded the rebranding and positioning of the newly merged company, establishing its reputation as a category of one in health, nutrition, and beauty. She leads the global communications, brand, digital, and engagement teams, partnering with the CEO and Executive Committee to bring the company’s purpose — We bring progress to life — to all stakeholders.
Previously, Ingvild served as Global Vice President of Communications at Firmenich, where she played a pivotal role in preparing and executing communications around the merger with DSM. Prior to that, she held the same role at AB InBev, where she built a 360° communications function, led a high-performing global team across six regions, and successfully delivered communications for Budweiser APAC’s $5.7B IPO in Hong Kong.
Earlier in her career, she held senior leadership positions at Johnson Controls, Elia, Tessenderlo Group, Carrefour, and Belgacom, as well as investor relations and communications roles in London, Amsterdam, and Brussels. Her career spans listed multinationals, family-owned businesses, and private equity-backed companies across diverse industries.
